Hallo zusammen

Habe seit gestern das Uniloc System 1700 Product Code: PVL99 und kann nur sagen das es sehr gut ist.
Die Stabilität ist auf jedem Fall nicht schlechter wie das 055 von Manfrotto das ich auch habe. Im
gegenteil das Uniloc ist wesentlich flexibler.
Die Belastungsprobe wird am Sonntag im Biotop gemacht, weiter Erfahrungswerte werde ich hier weitergeben.
Frank oder Uwe die, die schwerere Variante haben werden wahrscheinlich auch mitkommen wo man
dann vor Ort mal vergleichen kann.

Nachdem Uni-Loc bei den Ausstellern der Photokina
nicht zu finden war, haben Sarah, Frank und Manni
links einen Stock unter Canon doch noch den Uni-Loc
Stand gefunden.

Dort war ein netter Mensch anzutreffen, der, als ich im mein
Handle samt abgedrehter Spirale zeigte, sofort wusste, wer ich war.

Dieser nette Mensch hat wohl Uni-Loc übernommen.

Mittlerweile werden die Innengewinde wieder in das Material gedreht.
Vorher war wohl eine Hülse eingesetzt worden, und das funktionierte
wohl nicht.

Sarah kaufte sich ein MASYS 1220 mit meinem korrekt gefertigten Handle.
Gabi und ich haben ein tabletop Uni_Loc erstanden.
Mal sehen, ob es beim nächsten Makroeinsatz funktioniert.

Ich habe auf einer website folgenden Hinweis gefunden:

The most recent postings in this thread here, particularly those from people in the US who cannot find a source for Uni-Loc in their country, has made me curious, and so this morning I tried to contact either Uni-Loc themselves or Mr. Dante Mody, the gentleman of Indian origin who in 2004 had acquired the company. A call to what then was his photography shop in North London resulted in a recording of "... this number has been changed to...", and surprisingly the number it has been changed to is the original one of the Leighton Buzzard company.

So I called that one and got an immediate reply, and it was Mr. Mody himself who was on the phone. I was careful to remain anonymous and asked him where one could buy his products. He asked if I was in the UK, and then he said "I could send it to you....!" And he gave me an E-Mail address for any further correspondence or ordering. I also asked about a Web site but he told me that "... at present our Web site is not active..."

Ich bin Supermoderator des Forums www.makro-forum.de. Auf der Photokina in Köln
teilte mir Herr Dante Mody mit, dass sie die Distribution des Uni-Loc übernommen hätten.
Ist dies korrekt und kann man ab sofort bei Ihnen bestellen?

PS: In dem englischen Text wird in der Tat mal von Mr. Brody, mal von Mr. Mody gesprochen.
Er heisst aber definitiv Mody, da ich mit ihm schon Mail-Kontakt hatte.

Nur leider tut sich bei kocktrade seit Wochen nichts mehr.

Hallo zusammen, ich habe erst kürzlich bei Kocktrade mein 1220 Major System bestellt.
Man wird dann an einen Herr Pöppe von der Firma Windeit verwiesen, die den Verkauf übernimmt.

Hat bestens geklappt.

Kann man dann auch bei Kocktrade nen evtl Garantieanspruch des Griffes vom Uniloc geltend machen?
