Hi,
last season i was able to finally catch the young sympetrum dragonfly. in the place where dragonflies transform into imago i usually found bigger species like Aeshna's or Libelulla's. This time i had some luck to find the smaller one and here is the result.
Best,
Michal

Hi Michal,
this picture comes with some pros and cons for me.
On the pro side there's definitly the overall composition, the soft structured background and the very good sharpness and the interessting reflections on the wings. Particularly the reflections are interessting, because very often they don't add value to a macro photo. In this case the angle of the exposure to the light creates a structure on the wings that causes the impression as if the wings were tangible.
On the con side there is the rather dominating bud on the right hand side.
However, speaking about "domination" - the pros definately do over the cons. So I like this picture very much!
Thanks for showing!
Best regards,
Marcus
